Conservation Articles
Conservation: the preservation, management, and care of natural and valued resources.
With a rapidly growing population & decreasing natural environment, conservation is a must.
As human populations grow at an astounding rate, resources become harder to protect & preserve. Join other Tennesseans in conserving & protecting the environment in which we all depend on!
Please browse around, contribute an article, send us your opinion, sign a petition, enter a name in the Green Tennessee Registry, or send in some photos or a video. And always remeber, positive encouragement works better than negative reactions.
This site refers to "Conservation" as an ethic of resource use, allocation, exploitation & protection, as a movement seeking to protect plants, animals & their habitats and as a duty of citizens to be responsible for their existence.
Conservation is everyones responsibitlity! Conserving  energy and natural resources, along with promoting clean air & water, recycling, and preserving plant and wildlife makes sense. Residents, government and business share in these duties.

"We are the most dangerous species of life on the planet, and every other species, even the earth itself, has cause to fear our power to exterminate. But we are also the only species which, when it chooses to do so, will go to great effort to save what it might destroy." - Wallace Stegner
