What Can Be Recycled?

Mixed Paper
YES
-Any kind of paper such as newspaper, magazines, junk mail, phone books, paperback books, paperboard, cereal boxes, freezer food boxes.
NO-Soiled paper
PREPARATION-Paper should be clean (no food). Do not need to remove staples, paper clips or plastic windows in envelopes.
Cardboard
Yes
-Cardboard boxes (flatten boxes), brown paper bags & other boxes.
NO-Waxed boxes such as banana boxes.
PREPARATION-Cardboard should be clean (no food) and flat.
Plastic Bottles & Containers
YES
-Plastic (bottles & containers), soda & juice bottles, milk jugs, detergent containers, and dairy containers such as yogurt, cottage cheese or butter containers.
NO-black plastic, Styrofoam or clamshell containers (such as strawberry or take-out containers where the container and lid are attached), lawn furniture, computers, motor oil containers, plant pots, plastic bags (plastic bags can be recycled at most grocery store locations).
PREPARATION-Rinse containers. No need to remove lids or labels.
Aluminum Cans & Metal Cans
YES
-Aluminum beverage containers, metal food containers
and empty aerosol cans. Rinsed.
NO-No bulk metal, car parts, bed frames, or other various metals
PREPARATION-Rinse cans. Do not need to remove labels.

Once you sign up, we will drop off a container, usually the next business day. Then we will make a pick up on the next scheduled day for your neighborhood.
Please make sure items are clean and dry, and cardboard boxes are flattened. Make sure your container is set out by 7:30 AM
