With a mix of geographical elements, such as mountains, hills, valleys, fields, forests, rocks, rivers, streams and lakes, photographers can hunt for that perfect scenic snapshot. Wildlife subjects are also readily available for those who seek to find the many animals, insects and plants that reside in the Volunteer State. Nature always was the best artist, in my opinion, and there is something very special in capturing that beauty and sharing it with others. Outdoor or Nature Photographers, get up close and personal with the natural world, giving them a view many never see. These photo junkies know how irritating litter can be when it shows up in an image they've captured. You' will never see these folks littering the planet, in fact they are some of the greenest Tennesseans in the state. Tennessee Photographers also have a unique opportunity to capture images of dumping and littering while they are out and about on their photo quests. The Nashville Photography Meetup Group was created in 2006 by Dave Newman and is the premier photography club in middle Tennessee. It has 650 members that support each other in photography skills and ideas. The group schedules outings of several venues and members show up looking for that special photo. Co-Organizer, Wendy Cunningham is very active in getting the group mobile and planning events with the help of Assistant Organizer Joey Bellino. If you are looking to tune your skills, this is the group to belong to.
