What a wonderful concept, "control" of an object from a "remote" location! It is quite entertaining and a great hobby. Especially if you built your machine yourself! We have quite a few R/C enthusiasts in middle Tennessee. You can find remote control cars, trucks, boats, airplanes & helicopters being driven from afar. Flying an aircraft from a radio is very theraputic! The freedom of the sky combined with the power of connectivity in your hands is hard to beat. You must have a AMA license to fly at any field, this is your insurance. Come take a gander at the aircraft at one of the air fields listed below. Most aircraft are built by the flyer.

Where to Fly Remote Control

There are some fantastic R/C Flying Fields in Middle Tennessee. Music City Aviators operates a really nice field at Peeler Park in Madison, near the end of Neel's Bend. During weekdays the field at Edwin Warner Park is open, Hendersonville R/C Club operates another nice field at Sanders Ferry Park, Middle Tennessee R/C Society operates at Cane Ridge Park in Nashville and Middle Point RC Flyers operates in Murfreesboro, TN.
