What is NashvilleOutdoors.net?
NashvilleOutdoors.net, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting environmental awareness, wildlife preservation and resource conservation in Tennessee through the medium of "outdoor recreation". In hopes of enhancing environmental health, community awareness and wildlife preservation.
How do we do it?
Through promotion of outdoor recreation and adventure activities using a conservation theme, both through our website and on-site visits. For example: We would visit the local skate park, meet skaters & skateboarders, interview them, take photos and promote our website. When users visit the site to see photo shows or videos, they are exposed to conservation issues & local wildlife.
What are our objectives?
Our objectives are, but not limited to, the following:
To photograph, record, map & study wildlife in Tennessee.
To introduce the wildlife that lives in Tennessee to our users.
To encourage environmental awareness & action.
To encourage conservation & recycling.
To reward those that participate in conservation & recycling.
Deliver adventure to those that may not get a chance otherwise.
To support local, state & federal parks.
To encourage outdoor recreation, adventure & physical health.
To support & encourage community interaction.
What are our goals?
Our goals include but are not limited to the following:
To perform 20 Enviro Cleans each year. (land & water)
Obtain flat bottom boat w/crane for waterway debris retrieval.
Obtain promotional vehicle for community appearance & events.
To seek funding for NashvilleOutsoors.net, Inc.
To meet as many people as possible & promote the site.
